Quick -n- Easy
This adorable carrot not only tastes good but looks great too!
You can buy a ready made cheese log or make your own with this recipe and just add celery leaves to one end and viola you have a cheesy carrot...
2 pkgs (8oz. ea) cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded chedar cheese (4 oz.)
1 can slided ripe olives, drained (2-1/4 oz.)
3 green onions, chopped
1 jar (2 oz.) diced pimientos, drained
5 tsp taco seasoning
3/4 cup finely crushed nacho tortilla chips
In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and cheddar cheese until blended. Stire in the olives, onions, pimientos and taco seasoning. On a serving plate, shape mixture into a carrot shape; press crushed nacho chips onto the entire surface. Place celery leaves at top of carrot. Serve with crackers - makes about 10-12 servings.
