This cake is very cute for a safari theme or for that special person who just loves and collect elephants like my mother-in-law!

Lay your pattern on your cake (see cut-up cake tips on left of this page) and cut out your elephant.
Step 2 - Frost your cake... this can be a little tricky to do the edges so try laying a piece of wax paper under the edges of the elephant - where you can easily slip it out when you finish frosting your cake - you might need a few smaller pieces. After frosting - remove the wax paper and it will remove any overspill you created.
Step 3 - Decorate... Use candy gumdrops and fruit roll ups or any candy that will help you create your elephant.
