READ AHEAD OF TIME PRIOR TO MAKING THESE CAKES.
In advance
, tint a 2-inch ball of the White fondant with Green Coloring, a 2-inch ball with very little Black Coloring to create grey or blue, and a 1-inch ball with Black Coloring. (Directions are incuded on the back of the White Fondant package -- be sure to use gloves!)

Roll out the green-tinted fondant and cut out the head using bell metal cookie cutter and let dry on a board covered with cornstarch for several hours. For the hands, slightly flatten a small ball of green fondant and use craft knife to make right and left hand shapes, making cuts for fingers and thumb. Shape fingers and palms, trimming where necessary.

SAVE the remaining green fondant.

Make your favorite cake recipe or prepared box mix, fill pans and bake according to the Mini Wonder Cake Pan directions and let cool completely. Prepare your favorite Buttercream frosting or use prepared frosting in a can from your grocery store. Lightly frost each cake (this keeps the crumbs from getting loose).

Roll out the White fondant and drape over cake, making folds for pleats in gown. Trim, as needed, to make the gown flush with the bottom of the cake. Gather together left-over cut-out pieces of Fondant and knead together to use again.

For Hands: Slightly flatten a small ball of green fondant and use sharp-tip knife (paring knife) to make right and left hand shapes, then make cuts for fingers and thumb. Shape the fingers and palms, trimming where necessary.

For arms: Cut two wooden dowel rods to 4 inch length. Wrap a 2-inch area in center of rods thickly with Fondant, leaving 1 inch unwrapped at ends (for the hands to be added). Dampen one end of the thick Fondant sleeve and insert dowel rod into the cake; carefully join the Fondant sleeve with body. Attach hands to ends of dowel rods with icing.

For the Hair: Using the grey/blue tinted Fondant, cut into strips and position on the head in a wavy or curly pattern, your choice of hair style. Add a couple of strips of the White Fondant for streaking (see photo). For the Nose: Position a small round green-tinted piece of Fondant. For the Eyes: Position two of the Eye-shaped Hard Sugars. For the Eyebrows: Position two teensy strips of black Fondant. For the Mouth: Position a piece of black Fondant in a mouth shape of your choice or as shown in the photo.
