A variation of this children's theme party works wonderfully for a Brownie Troup or youth organization - have everyone invited bring a Teddy Bear, a favorite batch of cookies and a favorite juice or tea to have an inexpensive for-no-reason party. While munching on cookies and tea, let the guest introduce their teddy bear by name and tell a little about the bear and themselves - a good ice breaker if there are guests that don't know one another.
Use a rubber stamp with teddy bears to make the invitations or use bear prints computer stationary and stamp envelopes. Ask guests to bring their very own special Teddy Bear Friend.
Thank You Notes:
Use Teddy Bear-shaped gift tags and a pink ribbon for a bow at the top of the head for a girl or a blue ribbon at the neck for a boy.
What else, Teddy Bears and your child's favorite colors. Put several in a group on the table for a centerpiece.
Use a Teddy Bear-shaped cake pan or draw a bear on a cake and color in with frosting. You can also purchase cake top candies that are bear-shaped. Serve Gummy Bears, Dizzy Grizzlies, and other bear shaped foods.
