A Wedding Cake

The wedding cake was a nightmare because I wanted to please the Bride and Groom yet knew they did not understand the practicality of making it work like they dreamed their cake would be. First, they only needed 35 servings but I told them the only way that set-up would work is if there were at least 50 servings. I knew when that the stair cases would not go all the way into the 14 inch cake so I added white gauzy fabric by draping it at the stair cases to cover what could not be attached. The wedding couple said they liked it... I have not made one like that before... whew.
I airbrushed the bottom of the side cakes and then pearled everything so it would hold up better for the outdoor wedding. All is well that ends well!
