Most Bizarre Request
I've been asked with all the specialty designs I do for people, what was the most bizarre request? That would have to be the pink flamingo eating a shrimp. The idea came from a 3-year old. She was visiting Disney World and was watching the pink flamingoes. Suddenly, out of nowhere, she turned to her little friends and told them she was going to have a pink flamingo eating a shrimp on her birthday cake! So, when the order was made, I was told what she wanted and that in addition, the shrimp had to have a surprised look on it's face. "Like the one I have on my face now?"
I found a picture of a partying flamingo and altered the design. The cookie was 9" tall and I made companion pieces of happy shrimp and small pink flamingoes that went around edge of the rectangle stacked cakes.
Ah...the mind of a child......
