Games and Activities:
Set up different tables/centers for the different crafts or art activities you have planned for your party.

For crafts, save items you might use ahead of time such as egg cartons, plastic containers, paper towel or toilet paper rolls, empty plastic soda bottles, etc.

Sponge paint. Ask guests to bring a white t-shirt to sponge paint or provide them yourself as part of the favor. Have shaped sponges for kids to use to decorate their shirts.

Sand Art. Use small plastic containers and a variety of colored sands and allow the children to create their own designs in their containers.

Set out paper, marker, colors, watercolors, rubbing plates, etc. Let kids draw, color...be creative.

Have wood shape cut outs on hand for kids to paint and decorate. Attach a string or ribbon to the top to make an ornament or attatch a piece of sticky back magnetic tape to make a magnet.

Put out all your saved craft items. Add some wooden pop sticks, pipe cleaners, glue, tape, buttons, ribbon. Look up specific craft projects for kids to make using the supplies you have gathered.

Some crafts you can make are:
Make rainsticks. Let kids color and decorate paper towel rolls. Fill with small beads, dry rice, beans. Cut two circles out of construction paper slightly larger than the openings on the towel roll. Cover the openings with the circles.Glue around the edges and add a rubber band for extra support.

Make a windsock using an empty plastic soda bottle. Cut off the bottom of the bottle. Attach a sting or ribbon to the top tying around the neck of the bottle. Punch holes around the bottom edges of the bottle. Tie strips of multicolored ribbons by threading through the holes and tying a knot at the hole. Let kids wrap a piece of colored constuction paper around the body of the bottle and decorate as they wish.

Purchase foam door hangers and additional foam shapes for kids to decorate their door hangers.

Buy small wooden or cardboard boxes from your craft store or craft department for kids to
decorate by gluing on beads, sequins, buttons, etc. to make their own treasure boxes.
