Frugal & Simple Baby Shower Treats!
Using a little butter, prepare the inside of an umbrella cookie cutter. Fill inside of cookie cutter with chocolate or white fudge and pack down tightly. Using waxed paper on a work surface, turn cookie cutter over -- the fudge will be a flat even surface. Insert cookie cutter filled with fudge into a clear cellophane party bag, tie off with curly ribbon, perhaps add a little card handwritten with the mommy-to-be's name and date -- perfect party favors for guests to take home and enjoy after the shower is over. Variation: Fill cookie cutter with mints or mini candies for a simpler easy-to-do idea. Click Here for Baby Cookie Cutters!
Purchase already-baked cookies or bake them yourself and decorate simply... Use frosting that will harden and pipe around the edges and add any wording you desire in the middle. Allow 24 hours for the frosting to set and then layer gently on a plate to serve. Variation: Place one cookie inside a clear cellophane bag and tie off with curly ribbon colors to match the baby shower theme.
