1 lb. confectioners sugar 1 lb. softened and at room temp. butter 1 dozen eggs 1 lb flour 1.25 tablespoon baking powder 8 oz room temp. milk 1 teaspoon of clear vanilla 2 oz of annisette or rum

pre heat oven at 275 degrees. beat the confectioners sugar and the butter til very fluffy. mix the flour and the baking powder. then, add 7 whole eggs one by one and let it beat. Once it's nice ibncorporated add five yolks and beat once again. then, lower the speed of the machine in order to add the flour. Add gradually the flourand proceed by combining the wet ingredients( milk, vanilla, and annisette). Once you have some flour in add some of your wet mixture. Proceed this step until finished with both mixtures.Make sureit gets all mixed and then you're ready to bake. Bake for approximately 1.5 hrs. depending on your ovens.
