No Tricks, Just Treats...

"When trick-or-treating is finished, why not continue the party at a neighborhood gathering
filled with hair-raising games, crafts and most importantly – homemade candies and cookies,"

said Nancy Siler, consumer affairs director for Wilton Enterprises,
the nation's leading supplier of cake and entertaining supplies
which can be found at The PartyWorks.com and local cake decorating stores in your city.

Ingredients:
Apples, mini Marshmallows, pretzel sticks, corn syrup, vegetable shortening, paring knife, waxed paper, cream or evaporated milk.
Directions:
Insert into apples at an angle and follow kit directions for dipping apples in caramel; let set on waxed paper. Remove Candy Klay from box and add black coloring, kneading it until color is well blended. Roll out thinly and cover apple to resemble cauldron. Form cauldron rim at top of the apple using more of the black Candy Klay and let set. Lay pretzel sticks cake board circle for the fire and position the apple on top of them. (see photo above). Marbelize red, orange and yellow candy, (do not blend the colors but rather make it appear as flames), rolling to 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick and cut flame shapes with paring knife. Attach the 'flames' to the bottom of the apple with melted candy acting as the 'glue'. Thin melted green candy melts with 1 tablespoon shortening. Dip mini marshmallows in the thinned candy and cover completely. Position the green marshmallows individually on the apple. Using Gummy Mix in flavors of your choice to create ghosts and bats.
