M&M Party

Those cute little M&M's are great guys to have at a party!
Invitations:
Just make a circle in a M&M color write on the "M" in white
and write the party info on the back. If hand delivering invitations, attach
a note to a small pack of M&M's. Ask guests to wear a shirt in their
favorite M&M color.
Decorations:
Use all different M&M colors for partyware. Mix the colors for plates,
napkins, cups, table covers, etc.
Use the same colors for streamers and balloons. On balloons write an "M" on them to make M&M balloons.
Use colored paper plates, write an "M" on them and attach to the wall or glue two plates together;flat sides touching. When dry, punch a hole at the top edge of the plates. Use fishing line to hang them from the ceiling or use coordinating colors of curling ribbon.
Use any M&M decorations you can find. M&M makes a variety of items. Mugs, plush, ceramics, platic toys, tin containers, etc. Look at Target or Walmart for additonal M&M knick knacks.
Cake:
Simply make a round cake. Frost it the color of your favorite M&M. Write
an "M" in the middle with white icing.
Food and Snacks:
M&M's of course. Crunchy, plain, peanut,mini's,etc.
Make cookies with M&M's.
Make peanutbutter and jelly sandwiches. Cut into a circle with a cookie cutter. Use a pastry bag to draw an "m" on the sandwich with jelly.
Serve differnt colors of drinks. Red punch, blue punch, lemonade, chocolate milk, to represent the different colors of M&M's.
Build your own ice cream bar. Let guests build their own sundae and provide plenty of M&M's for toppings.
Goodie Bags and Favor:
Use paper sacks in all different colors. Decorate with M&M stickers
or just write a big "M" on the front of the bags. Fill the bags
with a variety of M&M's, a tube of mini M&M's, a M&M beanbag,
stickers, pencils, etc. You can find alot of M&M merchandise.
Games and Activities:
Pin the "M" on the M&M. Draw a big circle on colored posterboard.
Use "M" cutouts for the kids to use to try and put the "M"
on the M&M.
Make a bean bag toss game using small bags of M&M's into small, plastic colored pails.
For an activity, ask the guests to bring a plain white t-shirt. Cut circles
out of plain sponges or buy round sponges for sponge painting. Have different
colors of paints for the guests to dip their sponges in and put M&M's
on their shirts. Add a cute saying using fabric crayons or paints.
