Use any My Little Pony toys that you already own as additional decorations.

Make a rainbow balloon arch. You can find instructions for this on the internet.

Food and Snacks:
Make cold sandwiches in the shapes of butterflies, flowers, hearts, etc. using cookie cutters.

Carrot sticks, celery sticks and apples slices with ranch dressing, peanutbutter, and caramel for dipping.

Make fruit kabob wands. Put fruit chunks onto a wooden skewer. Top with a piece of star fruit to complete your wand.

Serve mini versions of foods such as for a tea party. Mini cupcakes frosted with pink and lavender icing and topped with silver sprinkles or colored sugars.

Tea sandwiches.

Mini muffins set out in a basket.

Make cookies in the shapes from above and let the girls decorate them as an activity.

Serve punch in a fancy punch bowl. Use plastic tea cups for the girls to sip from.

You can incorporate a tea party or picnic style for this theme.

Lay out a nice flowery quilt in the grass for the girls to enjoy their snacks. Or

Set up a few "tea tables". Use pedestal cake stands, tiered stands and basket to serve goodies on and out of.

Goodie Bags and Prizes:
Use a small basket or a little girls purse to hold favors. Or use pastel colored paper bags. Punch two holes along the top of each long side. Make the holes about 2 1/2 inches apart. Use ribbon to tie through the holes to make ribbon handles for your bag. Put in stickers, play make-up, pony toys, pony tail holders, bracelets, necklaces, bubbles, a ring pop.

Prizes could be a plush bean bag pony, My Little Pony coloring/activity books, stamper sets, mini notepads and feathery pens, or a ribbon wand.

Games and Activities:
Decorate horse shoes. Cut out shape from fun foam. Let the girls decorate using glitter glues, sequins, sparkly jewels, etc.

Decorate straw garden hats with ribbons and silk flowers. Add a small nylon butterfly.

Play Pin the Tail on the Pony.

Play a game of horseshoes.

Butterfly catch. Hand out plastic butterfly nets. You can purchase these at the dollar stores. In advance, hide small nylon or paper butterflies. The guests must find and "catch" the butterflies. Whoever "catches" the most wins.

Make necklaces or bracelets out of beads. You can purchase bead kits at your craft store or purchase beads and strings seperately. You can also find small bead kits at the dollar stores. If budget allows, you can purchase a small kit for each guest.

Make wands. Tie a cluster of ribbons to the about three inches in on a wooden dowel. Insert a medium sized styrofoam ball on the same end as the ribbons. Decorate your styrofoam ball using glitter, sequins, beads, or shiny jewels.

Make butterfly wands. Use 12x18 in sheets of colored construction paper. Fold sheet in half with short sides coming together. Cutting through both halves of the sheet, cut the shape of one side of a butterflies wings making the wings particularly big. Unfold the sheet to expose complete butterfly. Decorate butterfly with additonal shapes cut out of colored construction paper, glitter glues, sparklies, sequins, etc. Punch one hole of the top of each of the top wings. Use pipe cleaner to make the antennae. Twist a pony bead onto the end of the pipe cleaner for an antennae topper. Put one piece of pipe cleaner through each of the two holes and twist together in the back. Use a piece of tape to attach to underside of paper butterfly. Take a 24 in piece of dowel and tape along the middle fold of the butterfly covering the length of the body and leaving about a 14-
16 inch length for the "handle". When the kids move the "handle" up and down the butterfly "flaps" it's wings.
