Penny in a Pinch

Place an empty wide-mouth bottle (Ragu, Prego, etc.) in the middle of the room. Guests start about ten feet from the bottle with a penny placed between her/his knees and must walk to the bottle and drop the penny into it. Each guest is given just one try. The guest who gets the penny into the bottle wins. If several guests succeed, they are each given one more turn to get yet another penny in the bottle until only one person has a penny in the bottle. If no one gets a penny in the bottle, everyone gets one more turn. This is a funny game and a great ice-breaker to get the party started.
