Chocolate Pie
 


Cupid must have created this wonderful chocolate pie
because it is really heavenly!
 

Crust:
2 egg whites
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspon cream of tartar
1/2 cp sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts

Filling:
1 (4 ounce) German chocolate 
3 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup whipping cream


Crust Directions:
Beat egg hites, sal and cream of tatar until foamy.  Add sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time, beating after each addition.  Continue beting until the mixture is very stiff.  Fold in gently walnuts and vanilla.  Pour into a greased pie pan and bake at 300 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes.

Filling Directions:
Melt chocolate and water in sauce pan.  Cool until the mixture is thickened, then add vanill.  Whip cream and fold into the chocolate.  Pour into the baked crust.  Chill for two hours.
