Hint
Always have more games prepared
than you think you may need!

Bingo
Buy or Make Bingo Cards - use cut pieces of paper or marker for dabbers. Let the winner pick from a selection of prizes - maybe they are accessories for the new buddy that they just made!  (information on this party activity that becomes a take-home favor, see end of this article)

Musical Party Favors
Have the children sit in a circle - pass a wrapped "favor" around - when the music stops, the one with the present wins!  The winner sits out and the game continues until each child has a gift.  For a Bears N Buddies or Stuff a Friend party, I would use little things you can get at the dollar store - for example - hair clips and baby brushes to use on their new animal.

Twister
Buy or Make a Twister game. Customize the spots on the board with different animals! Stick the Heart on the Teddy Think "Pin the Tail on the Donkey" with sticker hearts and a big pin up of a teddy bear.

Poor Kitty
(or whatever animal you choose)
Arrange the group in a circle with a blindfolded player in the center.  Then have the players move around the circle very quietly.  The blindfolded player should approach the circle in any direction and secure a victim who, in a disguised voice, says "poor kitty" and then imitates the meow of a cat. If the blindfolded player fails to identify his prisoner - he releases him and the game continues. If he succeeds, the two change places.

Twenty Questions
One player is "it" and leaves the group while the other players choose an object in the room.  "It" returns and tries to guess the object.  He can ask 20 questions of the group members - all of which must be answered with a yes or no.  He asks his questions of each person in turn so that all are asked at least one question.
If "it" guesses the object, someone else becomes "it" - otherwise he is "it" again for the next game.

Strip the Present
Have the children sit in a circle. Wrap a present several times and send it around the circle.  As it goes from person to person have each child unwrap one layer (mix it up with shopping bags, foil paper, etc).  The child who unwraps the last layer to discover what the prize is gets to keep it!  Make it an accessory to go with their new plush friend!!

Name that Animal
Pair up your party guests in teams of 2-3 people and put a picture of an animal on each child's back.  Have the kids try to guess what the bug is by asking questions that can be answered with only yes or no.  E.g., "do I have legs?", "Am I brown?".
See how long it takes for them to figure out the animal.

Cats Tail Game
Get long strips of cloth - make them at least one yard long and have the kids tuck them in to the back of their pants so that they are hitting the ground.  The kids run around after each other trying to step on each others tails.  When you lose your tail, you are out of the game.  The winner is the child who is the last one with a tail!
Perhaps the winner could win an accessory for their new stuffed animal!

Consider providing each child stuff with their very own
animal that they create and takehome.

NO need to provide goodie bags
This is a party activity kids love
AND each child gets to take home
their newly adopted friend

NO SEWING involved.

Each kit comes complete with:
One unstuffed animal
Wishing Star
Birth Certificate
Take Home Box
Easy-to-follow simple Instructions
