Bridal Tree Ornament Collection

Bridal Tree Ornament Collection

Create a priceless gift of ornaments
to grace your newly-married daughter or son's first
Christmas tree!

This is a simple and easy gift that will become a lifetime treasure!

A German tradition dictates that a newlywed couple's
first Christmas tree should be decorated with 12 symbols
to ensure a happy and long-lasting marriage.

Angel
(God's guidance)

Bird
(joy and peace)

Fish
(Christ's blessings)

Flower Basket
(good wishes)

Fruit Basket
(generosity)

Heart
(true love)

House
(protection)

Pine Cone
(abundance)

Rabbit
(hope and dreams)

Rose
(affection)

Santa Claus
(good will)

Teapot
(hospitality)

Here's How To Do It:

Using 12 clear glass or colored glass balls, paint or decoupage one symbol on each ball.

Fabric or paper wrap a box that will be the keepsake holder.

Wrap each decorated glass ball in colored tissue to prevent breakage and to add color.

Add personalize message in your own handwriting on a card to be kept in the box.
Be sure to put the date on it.

Punch asmall hole in the corner of the card and add a ribbon or holiday decoration.

Place gently on top of the tissue-wrapped glass balls and cover with fabric or tissue covered lid.

Add a wide gross-grain ribbon around the box and tie a simple bow. (The gross-grain ribbon is sweet and can easily be tied and untied over the years.)

A simple and easy gift that will become a lifetime treasure!
